To add photos to an event go to the "Events" module followed by "Events Calendar". Once you've found the desired event, click on it. A window(Event details) with information about the event will open, and at the top you will find a menu where you will select "Event photos".
In the middle, the photo category of the event will open, and on the left side you will find a green button called "Add photos".
