To plan the same discipline (Mathematics) for two different study profiles in the same class/groups, for example, "Intensive Mathematics" and "Humanities profile", first of all, you have to create the activity/discipline.

*This happens when inside the same class are two different profiles that need different levels of learning for the same discipline.

Creating the activity:

  • Go to the "Activities Schedule" module and select the "Disciplines/ Main Activities" tab.

  • In the newly opened page, click on the "Add Activity" button.

  • configure the new activity as follows: name the activity; assign a color so that it is easy to distinguish it: select the type of evaluation and whether or not the activity is attended, and most importantly, if we have two different profiles for the same discipline/activity (eg Intensive Mathematics and Humanities profile), check the "Individual Activity" option.

Note: If the "Individual Activity" option is checked, although you will have it scheduled twice, and you will assign different students for two different profiles (e.g. Humanities and Intensive mathematics) to the discipline/activity "Mathematics" for the same class, the discipline/activity will be displayed only once in the electronic catalog

Planning the activity in the schedule of activities:

  • After you have created the discipline/activity, return to the "Planner", select the class in which you want to plan the activity, and place it in the desired time slot, with drag and drop.

  • After planning the activity in the timetable, click on it and enter the activity profile (eg Intensive Mathematics) in the "Description" field. Then you will add the children who study "Intensive mathematics", do the recurring activity (eg until the end of the school year) and press the "Save" button.

  • Repeat the same steps to plan the activity once more, but this time in the "Description" field you will enter another profile of the discipline (eg Humanities profile). Then you will add the children who study at the "Humanities profile", do the recurring activity (eg until the end of the school year) and press the "Save" button.

Important: At the end you will have the same discipline/activity "Mathematics" planned two or more times in the same time slot for the same class/group, but which is displayed only once in the electronic gradebook, and you will see the grades of all students, regardless of profile (Humanities profile/ Intensive mathematics).
