How do i create a survey/poll?

To create a survey/poll, click on "Add Poll" on the top right.

After you click "Add Poll", a window will open where you will choose to which audience the poll is addressed for, its description and a completion date and / or a completion threshold. After this information, start filling in the questions.

Here are some examples of questions you can use when creating a survey in Kinderpedia:

  • Satisfaction Questions (with one or more answer options)

  • Open-ended Questions (text)

  • Rating Questions

After drafting all the questions and selecting the desired response types, save the survey by pressing the "Preview" button.

To make the created survey reach the selected users, you need to publish it. This is done through the "Actions" button.

!Attention, after publishing the survey, you cannot modify the questions.

After publishing the survey, by pressing the "Actions" button, you have access to editing the survey settings (users, subject, description, end date, respondent threshold). Please note that you will not have access to editing the questions.

How do I view the responses to the questions?

The survey responses can also be viewed from the "Actions" section. Here you can see the total number of people who have responded. The results can be printed individually from the "View Results" button or in full from the "Print" button above, meaning you will be able to print a report containing all the responses to all the questions.

How can I respond to a survey from the parent app?

When a new survey is published for the class your child is part of, you will receive a notification in the mobile app. You can also access the survey by going to the app menu and selecting the "Surveys& Polls Module''.

After accessing the Survey & Polls module, press "Start Survey" and then go through all the questions.

After each question, press "Save and Continue."
