How can I add a teacher / staff member account?
Access "Center management" > "Staff management" and click on "Add new user" in the top right corner.
Here you select the role (for more info about roles CLICK HERE). If the role is teacher, you have to select at least one class/group to assign for that teacher by clicking on the "Group" field bellow and select the group from the dropdown menu, if it's a role based on "Staff member" you won't see the "Group" field.
Then add the email address and a password, you can select "yes" next to "use a random password" if you wish to set a random one.
Finally add the first and last name (phone number and school address is optional), select yes/no next to "Send invite via email" (user will receive a confirmation email that contains the password) and save.
When you add a user, make sure that the email address is not already used for a different type of user or else it won't work. For example, if you are adding a teacher that already holds an active parent account, you can't use the same email address for the teacher account, you have to use a different email.
How can I deactivate/delete a staff member / teacher account?
Access "Center management" > "Staff management". In the list with staff member or teachers, find the user that you want to remove and click on "Actions" > "Deactivate".
The user will now show as "inactive" in the list.
If you wish to completely remove the user from the list, click again on "Actions" and select "Delete".
How can I assign a teacher to one or more children groups / classes?
Access "Center management" > "Staff management" > "Teachers" and look for the teacher that you want to assign/remove from classes and click on "Actions" > "Edit" next to his name.
In the edit page, under the "Groups" fields, click on the empty space to add new groups which the teacher can access or click on the small "x" button next to the already added groups in order to remove them.
Alternatively you can access the "Children Groups" page, click on a group and then click on the "Assign teacher" button to assign a teacher. Or you can click on "Actions" next to a teacher name on the right side and select "Exclude".
