The Notifications module keeps you up to date with what happens on the platform: new Newsfeed posts, comments, assignments, events, messages and more. Notifications appear in the platform (under the bell icon), as push notifications on your phone and, for some modules, by email.
Each user chooses which push notifications they receive. The administrator can set the notification hours or turn notifications off temporarily for the whole school.

Quick Messages: for quick messages;
Incidents And Accidents: for every new incident reported.
Tip: These settings apply only to your own account. Each teacher or parent chooses their own alerts.

5. How do I set the notification hours or turn notifications off for the whole school?
Center Management › Kinderpedia Modules › Notifications › Settings
This setting is for administrators. In Kinderpedia Modules, on the Notifications card, click Settings. The Notifications module is always on.
Temporarily disable all notifications: turns off all notifications (in-app and push) for the users in your school. When you turn them back on, users are notified again;
Start time and End time: the hours in which push notifications are delivered. For example, between 7 and 21, so parents don't receive notifications at night.
Don't forget to click Save.
Note! While notifications are disabled, nobody in the school finds out about new posts, messages or announcements. Use this option only temporarily, for example while you set up the platform at the start of the year.
Tip: Notifications for newsletters (in-app and in the Newsfeed) are set separately, in Newsletter › Configuration. See Newsletter. Complete guide.
6. How do I choose notifications in the mobile app?
Kinderpedia app › ☰ › Account Settings › Notification Settings
In the Kinderpedia app, open the ☰ menu (top left), tap Account Settings, then Notification Settings. At the top, the push notification switch turns all push notifications for your account on or off. Below it, turn notifications on or off for each module, as on the web platform.
Besides the settings in the app, Kinderpedia notifications can also be turned off from the phone settings (under Notifications, choose the Kinderpedia app). If they are turned off on the phone, you won't receive any push notifications, whatever your settings in the app.
Tip: If a parent says they don't receive notifications, check the phone settings first, then Notification Settings in their account. The steps for each type of phone are below.
