How can I check from the electronic gradebook if there is a duplicated subject?
Accidentally duplicating a subject in the activity schedule can cause confusion, especially for schools using the electronic gradebook, where these activities will also be reflected twice.
How can I check from the activity schedule?
Go to the Activity Schedule section from the main menu.
Select the class for which you want to perform the check.
2. Check the List of Subjects
On the left side of the screen, in the Planner view, you will find the study subjects menu.
Review the list carefully and check whether the same subject appears more than once—either with the same name or with slight differences, such as different names or colors (as shown in the example image, where “Science” appears twice with different colors).
3. Check if Both Versions Are Scheduled in the Timetable
Make sure both versions of the subject are actually scheduled in the class timetable.
For a clearer overview, you can switch to the “Month” view, available in the upper-right corner of the screen.
This monthly view allows you to see all scheduled activities for the selected month and helps you quickly identify if the same subject appears on different days, but with different names or colors.
For example, if the recurring Science activity is highlighted in green and the duplicate version appears in pink, you'll need to correct the issue by deleting the pink one once you identify it.
Start by clicking the pink activity and check if there are any grades or absences recorded for that specific session.
If there are, take note of them—you’ll need to manually re-enter them later into the correct version (the green one).
Next, tap Edit Activity Details, then choose Delete to remove it.
Keep only the correct version and remove the duplicate to avoid confusion in the electronic gradebook, especially when it comes to tracking attendance and grades.
Then, add the correct Science subject using drag and drop on the same date—this time, make sure not to set it as a recurring event, so it only appears on that specific day.
After adding the correct version, manually input the grades and absences you saved earlier, ensuring the data remains accurate in the gradebook.
Finally, review the schedule and the electronic gradebook to make sure the changes have been applied correctly and that no other subjects are duplicated.
How to Check for Duplicate Subjects in the Electronic Gradebook
To verify if there are duplicated subjects in the class schedule using the electronic gradebook, use the available filter tools.
First, select the class you want to review. Then, apply the "Subjects" filter.
In the dropdown list, you will see all the subjects currently scheduled for that class.
If you see the same subject listed more than once, it means it has been added multiple times in the Activity calendar and must be corrected to avoid errors in grading and attendance tracking.
For a more thorough check, open each Science activity individually and select the "Class Grading" option.
In this section, you’ll be able to see exactly which dates each activity is scheduled on.
In this section, you’ll be able to see exactly which dates each activity is scheduled on. Scheduled dates for each subject will be highlighted in white on the calendar within the gradebook.
The correct activity is usually the one that has recurrence enabled—repeating consistently on the same weekday.
The incorrect version is the one that appears only on specific, isolated dates.
In this case, it can be observed that the Science activity is scheduled only once, on April 16th, which indicates that this is the duplicated activity, added individually, without recurrence.
Check if there are any grades and absences recorded for this subject and write them down separately, so they can be entered later, on the appropriate date, under the correct subject, after the incorrect activity has been deleted.
The correction is made from the activity schedule by going to the date of April 16th. Click on the activity, access Edit Activity details option, and then Delete the duplicated activity.
