How to enable the Rewards and Sanctions module
In order to activate this module, access "Center management" > "Kinderpedia modules". Scroll down until you see the Rewards and Sanctions module and click on "Enable" if it's disabled.
If it's not available, it means your subscription type does not include this module.
How to configure the global settings
Go to "Rewards and Sanctions" and click on the "Configuration" button on the top right.
The first tab that you see is the "Global settings" tab, here you can set the following:
Set annual points reset date.
Set house points to be visible or not for the parents.
Show or don't show negative points on the leaderboard.
Make sure to click on "Save" after making changes.
How to create/configure houses and add/remove children from them
Go to "Rewards and Sanctions" and click on the "Configuration" button on the top right, then click on the "Houses" tab.
To create a house, click on the "Add house" button.
You will see a pop up window where you need to enter a house name, short name, color, icon and set a responsible.
The house responsible doesn't have any special rights or access, it's just a representative.
After you define the house, you will see it listed down bellow. If you click on the 3 dots from under the "Actions" column you will see several options listed:
Edit house. Use this to edit the house details like name/color/icon.
Select students. Use this to add students to the house.
Manage students. Use this to remove students from the house.
Export students. You can export a XLS/CSV/PDF list with the students from the house.
Archive. Deactivate the group.
If you want to see a list or archived groups. use the filter on the top of the page to filter by "archived" and you can click on the "Actions" button and use the "Unarchive" function to restore it.
How to define and configure behaviors
Go to "Rewards and Sanctions" and click on the "Configuration" button on the top right, then click on the "Behaviors" tab.
To add a behavior, click on the "Add behavior" button.
A pop-up window will show up where you need to enter the behavior details as seen in the screenshot bellow.
You will find all of the defined behaviors listed bellow, if you wish to edit or archive them, click on the button underneath the "Actions" column and select Edit or Archive.
To view a list of archived behaviors, use the filter on the top to filter by "Archived" and click on "Actions" > "Unarchive" for the behavior that you want to restore.
How to add and remove points
Access the Rewards and Sanctions module and click on "Add points to Students" or "Add points to House" depending on what you need.
If you select to add points for students, you will go through 3 simple steps.
Select students (you can filter by group or house).
2. Select the behavior per student.
3. Add notes (optional) and select if the points are visible to parents.
For houses, the process is the same.
If you want to delete (or edit) points, click on the Actions button and select "Delete" or "Edit".
How to check the Leaderboard/Reports and export a list with the students or houses
Access the Rewards and Sanctions module and click on the "Leaderboard" tab, here you can filter by a specific period using the filters on the top and you will see top students based on positive and negative remarks.
To export a list of students/houses with points and to check the statistics, go to the "Reports / Analytics" tab. Here you can filter by student/house/group and down bellow you can use the "export" button to export the filtered list.
